What is Martyn's Law?
Martyn’s Law, officially known as the Protect Duty, is proposed UK legislation intended to enhance security at public venues and events, inspired by the 2017 Manchester Arena attack. The law is named after Martyn Hett a victim of the bombing, and championed by his mother, Figen Murray, who has campaigned for improved public safety measures.
